Probably a 50/50 chance ... I had heard rumors it was done so that Dell could ask you what your service code is on your Axim to verify its eligable for Dell support. Which I hope was not the case because I know some people that bought them from places like ComputerGeeks so they have no warrenty or support from Dell. I doubt you can get the upgrade thru computergeeks
 I got one of my 3 from there and I know Dell doesn't have my service code on record for my name since I didn't buy that one from them. | |||||

service code or not shouldnt matter besides they didnt ask me anything other then my shipping address. Its like windows MS doesnt ask do you own any other MS products as a requirement to buy
