2 questions
1. Can i get WMP 9 for 2002?
2. Do I have to buy the upgrade to 2003 from Dell, or can i get it elsewhere (is there a big difference if I bought an upgrade cheaper somewhere else for a different pda/are all the upgrades the same?) Thanks much, ~Doc  | |||

No, you can't get another upgrade from a different manufacturer. Each manufacturer has to release it's own update according to it's hardware. So an update for IPAQ wouldn't work for the Dell.

As for WMP9, Windows Media Player 9 Series for Pocket PC is only available on new Pocket PC devices running Windows Mobile Software 2003 or from a full system upgrade to the new Windows Mobile Software 2003 available from the Pocket PC manufacturer. It doesn't look like that MS will develope it to run on PPC2002.
