Here's a hint - some of us on this forum already have the upgrade... I repeat: re-read HappyCheesecake's last few posts, take up his suggestion(s) and you never know what might happen!! (Can I make it any more obvious?!)

Still no sign of it officially though... I've given up holding my breath - but then I don't need to anymore ;-)

Dell replaced mine and the replacement came with WM2003

So how did you manage that? Was your Axim faulty or did they offer to replace it so you could have WM2003?

:D Shock and surprise....I received my A05 ROM Update last week, on CD, from D(h)ell and I'm in Melbourne, possibly now the Twilight Zone.

Well, I applied the update and wow...what a huge difference. Media player runs with no glitches, applications seem to open before I run them (ok, so it's not THAT fast).

It has made a huge difference though. It is worth the wait. Dell has one new re-converted, happy customer.

So guys, all the petitioning and emails to Dell has worked.

Got mine during the week. Came from Austin TX USA.

Axim much faster but still there are and always will be bugs.

Just upgraded to Win2003. Wow cool. Bluetooth eh?. But need to restore some of my applications.
