How come my Axom can synchronize all my stuff except email? I use MSN web-based email which means that when I use Outlook, my inbox is not the default Outlook inbox but rather another one named "MSN Inbox". I think that Active SYnc only syncs email from the default inbox.
THerefore: how can I make the MSN Inbox the place from which Active Sync can sync my email? Thanks in advance for any help.

MSN mail problems
I am having the exact same problem it if makes you feel any better. I just got my axim last night, and upgraded to outlook 2002 so I'm not sure where to start. I tried to set up a new mail account, but axim does not accept http mail servers. I know this is different then synching but I'm trying anything. I know I read somewhere that you can access web based e-mail with the axim, bit I can't remember where I found it. Post any solutions you find.
Thanks | |||

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to synch to outlook express (I am no expert though). However, even if you could I don't think you can get http e-mail. There are a couple of apps that can access web based mail. I have tried 2, pocket hotmail and OneMail. Neither of these apps worked for me, but I have been told by both that it's because my axim is using 2003. Hopefully companies will soon be making updates for 2003, so I guess I'll have to wait. One other thing, my axim came with Outlook 2002 bundled in the software disc. Outlook 2002 can read http e-mail, just like outlook express can. The problem is the ActiveSync program will not sync the msn inbox.

there is a 3rd party app that would allow you to sync outlook express & possibly hotmail but, of course, I forgot the name of it. It's here somewhere on the site. Try doing a search on outlook express and you might find it. As for this 3rd party app working on 2003 Axims, I don't know (?).
update...one of the apps is called Sycn Express.

Thanks, I found sync express, thinking about buying it soon, though usually I'm checking my mail while I'm syncing, just wondering if there was a way to do it in case i get a BT or 802.11x connection.
