Internet access though Sync on WM2003

Does anyone know if it is possible to have an internet connection on the Axim while it is synched on the cradle? I thought i read somewhere that it could be done with 2002 by downloading something from Microsoft. Is this also possible on 2003?

Yes it is, lets see if i remember how i got it to work last night.
First go to IE on your PC, go to a web site ( cant remember if it has to be in your Favourites list), then under Tools there should be a 'Mobile Favourites' option, choose that, say OK and that should be it! Now synch your PDA, launch the IE on your PDA,
go to your favourites, you should see your new added favourite that you just made. Go to it, and you should be away and surfing the net. Dont need to repeat the 'Mobile Favourites' process for other sites that you want to visit.

good luck!

Thanks for that. Can't seem to get it to work though. It is not displaying in my favourites in Pocket IE. Did you need to soft reset it or anything?

I didnt do a soft-reset , made sure i had the unit connected to the cradle and activesynch running during the whole process.
Do you have the latest Activesynch 3.7? Did you press 'synch'
button on the Activesynch window after you created the 'mobile favourites' ?

Yes i have Active sync 3.7 (the one that came with my Axim with 2003)
After I create the Moblie Favourite the Sync button doesn't not become active. It stays 'greyed out'
What am i doing wrong?
