My 30 days are up July 30th. Suggestions on should I RMA now and get a new one once it is fixed or wait and use the upgrade/patch? I bought this for for $257.

Couple of questions though weighs in my decision:

1. After the patch if something is wrong I can send it back for replacement but get a refurb correct?

2. If I use the patch and it screws it up will dell stand behind it?
(see previous post)

3. How have other upgrades/patches gone with regards to the Axim? Smooth oir a nightmare?

1. yep after 30days they send reburb replacements
2. they'll replace it for you
3. a03 patch was a piece of cake. no probs.

and RMA or not, thats your decision.. I say keep, $257 is a nice deal for a new ax..

I'm in a similar boat... I'll be hanging tight for another week or so awaiting the patch. Although I have little faith in Dell customer service, I have complete faith that when the patch/update is available that my Axim will be no worse than it is now. I too paid $257 for an Advanced... a screaming deal IMO... so I'm not in a rush to return it just yet.
