I think the members of the forum have come to the reluctant consensus that there was no 14000 build, seeing that we haven't seen a single screen shot, or benchmarks, and only one member actually claimed to have posessed it.

Of course, I could be incorrect with this assumption.

In any case, I'm sure the patched units will be super.

I wish mine had been delayed. I have one of the no-so-bad Axim 400Mhz Advanced models. I could have waited to get sent a "good" model instead of a 1/2 working one faster.

It's slower than my old Cassiopeia E-125 on some things, and faster on others. I'll just be glad to get the update and go on my merry way.

I am an owner of an Axim with PPC 2002, and I ordered the WM2003 update disc on June 28, and it says it will ship on July 28. Has anyone else in this string done the same as me? I have talked to, and I shit you not, 8 different Dell customer service reps, and they have all given me some crap about the discs being sent this week (the week beginning the 21st.) I also asked them why they took the option to place an order for the update disc and none of them could give me a straight answer. I simply got an answer that it was a glitch in their system. I will be shocked if this thing ships in the next month.

weeee.... got an email from dell and went to my status page... currently my new axim shipdate is the 29th. only a day after their previous change, not too bad. /me hopes it doesn't go back further.

im the same :D except for i didnt call 8 times, my upgrade was free from the 30day thing

I ordered mine online 11:30p EST on July 14th, and it arrived the 17th or 18th. Maybe you ordered some accessories, and they're waiting to ship the bundle? I ordered mine seperate, and I'm still waiting for them.

Nope, sorry CamGuy....the only thing I ordered was the upgrade disc and nothing else. I dunno why they put me on hold like that, when you ordered yours after I did and got yours already. What pisses me off is that they have already charged my account for something that hasn't even been shipped. I have done business with lots of places, and very few will charge you before the item ships. I guess I will just keep checking my order status.
