Trouble with ActiveSync & Outlook

Yesterday I received my Axim Advanced and, of course, I immediately installed it. But i've got a few problems. First of all, when I synchronize using ActiveSync, 'Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Inbox' require 'attention'. When I click 'resolve items', the program tells me to reconnect the device to the cradle, but that won't solve it. Another problem, which might be related, is that when I start Outlook, a dialog appears telling me that a recently installed program might cause outlook or other office products to not function correctly. I can chose to solve the problem on that dialog, but when I do so, it tells me that it can't fix the problem and that I should restart my PC... which I do of course, but doesn't help as well.

Anybody any idea how to get rid of these problems?

Download XCPUScalar and force the CPU to 472Mhz under all load conditions. You should see a significant improvement in ActiveSync's behavior. That should help with the syncing.

Sracer, thankyou for your reply. I don't really understand how tweaking the CPU could resolve this problem. Can you tell me a bit more?

Outlook has to able to run right for the calendar, etc. to sync. Do your e-mail and calendar work on the PC without the Axim connected? Incidentally, other files can be copied back and forth even if the calendar isn't resolved.
