I just received this information in an email from Dell:
We have reviewed your order. Although we had anticipated being able to
ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay. We will
not be able to ship your order until on or before Thursday, July 31, 2003. .
We apologize for this inconvenience, and are doing everything we can to get
your order out to you as quickly as possible.
My order was placed on the afternoon of 6/23/03

My account was just charged for the upgrade and it shows shipping on the 25th and I receive it on the 28th (I paid extra for quicker shipping) I've run all benchmark programs on my Axim in both 400 and 500 (Overclocked) mode and as soon as I get the upgrade installed I'll rerun benchmarks and post results.

That's weird... I ordered mine after the 4th of July, and I already have it. I have had it for two weeks now... granted two slow weeks, thanks to the problem, but I can't believe that you haven't gotten yours yet...

Pike we are discussing the 2003 upgrade cd not the axim with 2003. The axims have been shipping for a while but no Dell branch has shipped the upgrade cd as far as i am aware.

Dell have stoppped shipping axims in the UK, until it is resolved. That came from my account manager at Dell.

Tried to post yesterday from home but for some reason the site wouldn't let me. I was showing a delivery date of 24th July yesterday, today its the 25th. Wonder what it will be tomorrow?

Don't know if Dell has screwed up again but my order this morning is showing an expected shipping date of July 8, 2003! Yestreday it was August 4.
