I was at that show...had a blast then, but in retrospect it was truly over-hyped. I mean come on, Cyndi Lauper?

I've listened to the CD maybe once.

Journey...REO Speedwagon, and Styx? That makes you a hippie? Those bands don't deserve to share any bandwith with Pink Floyd...although possibly with Roger Waters on his own.

I hate to steer the conversation back to the topic but... At least the date, while fluctuating, is drawing closer and not further away...

Re: Dell Is now Calling

From what I remember anything that is mail-ordered, internet counts, if the item doesnt ship in 30-days from when it was ordered is automatically cancelled unless the customer agrees to wait, then the 30-day counter starts over again.

The lady probably wasnt informed on the orders she called on, but just asked people if they wanted to keep waiting.

A pleasant gesture on their part, however, when I asked for her to expand upon the question, she mentioned that I may want to order the part from somewhere else....

Hmm, how is that possible when it is a "Dell" part for a "Dell" machine...

I informed her I would continue to wait...

My point of this entire thread? I've never received a call from Dell when awaiting shipment of an order, is it possible that the fix they have promised may take longer than expected?

Exclamation Dell not shipping updates

Dell has said that they will not be shipping 2k3 software for the foreseeable future due to a problem with the software and its interaction with the axim slowing it down and all that.

I saw the Floyd live at Earls Court, London in 1994.
It will go down as one of the greatest moments of my life. :D

Now you done it

Well I am 51 soon to be 52, vietnam vet, graduated in 1971. lived through the 60's culture shock. Had hair down to my butt until boot camp. Always thought being a hippie was a state of mine more than a Life Style.
Done almost everything I don't want my kids doing, especially since I am a new Grandfather. I remembr the 60's.... some good things and a lot that were not good. I remember segregation, water fountains marked for balcks only I remember my first sit in and why it happend, I did not do drugs, drank to much, did stupied things, regret some things, proud of some others. I never wavered in my beliefs and my convictions and yes still considered myself a hippie among other things...and the strange thing is that now as I am older my opiones are not nearly as strong as they were, I listen a lot more and hardly ever tell someone how stupid they are to thier face....hardly ever. :rolling:
