My cd ships out tomorrow

Thats what it says according to dell , should i be worried

Mine still says tomorrow also. It has been that way since I ordered it on 06/26/03.

I'm not counting on it shipping though

I got a call from Dell yesterday saying that my CD would ship on the 29th instead or the 23rd. I told her that I would rather wait for it to be fixed before they send it to me, so no problem. After all I have read about the issues, I am in no big hurry.

Glad to hear that you're in no big hurry... 'cause it ain't going out on the 29th either.

That's why I had to start the process of returning Axim w/WM2003 for a refund... the fix won't be available before my 30 days are up.

After what I read online I doubt it will be ready before a couple of weeks. I also am willing to wait untill the COMPLETE fix is out there before recieving mine. I already paid for it though....

From what I have read on the Dell Fourms today, 1 person (maybe more) has gotten a phone call from Dell (a miracle in itself) saying that it would be shipped on something like Sept. 10. However Dell's site was saying it was shipping today. I'd say it will ship when the patch is ready. Who knows when that will be.

Why can't Dell stop all this speculation and false rumours and put out a statement telling us what is going on and when we can expect to see our upgrades or fixes?
After ignoring the sixth email I have sent, the only way I have of knowing what is happening is my delivery date changes on a daily basis, I nearly catch up with it and then it moves right by three days. Is this some sort of game? How many customers are they losing by all this bad press? Other companys must be laughing their socks off! Or do they have problems also?

My account has authed the sale (not available for credit) but they have not charged me for the upgrade. I don't think they (Dell Preffered account) will charge until the item actually ships.
