well if this is true, and from the posts in that thread it looks like it is, Dell is about a hair away from losing a dedicated axim user (and overall Dell-loyalist) to [shudders] compaq-hp [fights off seizures].

august i can deal with but this is too stupid even for Dell.

mine is ppc2002 but i want 2k3 damnit. this is so stupid.. I can wait anyway because linksys is doing the same garbage with not releasing M2003 drivers, so i'd have no wifi capabilty with upgrading..

I think dell is just making up ship dates now, lol. I got a voicemail from them a couple days ago that said July 30th.

I am really pissed at this, from the time dell admitted to the issue it should have been fixed in a week at the LATEST. Screw testing your patches for half a year, get it right the first time and release it immediatly.

And stop whining about your upgrade kits...at least your axims work properly :P

Kidding, but still, if your upgrade kit is set to ship in september, just be happy your axim works unlike that of others.

I received an e-mail as well today that said they are not shiping until 9/10/2003. That is completely crazy. How will they ship new orders? with '02 or "03 or at all. What a major screw up on their part.

that is actually more expensive through my university its $356 otherwise i can get it for 260 from hp..
