Supposed to be on the 25th Jul, judging by correspondence on the Dell Community Forum.
Found this recent post:-

Even if Dell don't come out with a driver as promised, there is still hope. (c:

I've just downloaded a WIDECOM Inc driver at http://www.com1-support.com/download...ct=73&local=uk

Filename TECH0811.ZIP

It's working with the Truemobile 300 CF card and AXIM X5 PPC 2003. ((c:

Hope it helps as I am waiting for MS Mobile 2003 and when I do get it, the fix for the TrueMobile CF card unless it's included. Need them both to be happy! :(

Big Smile

Thanks for that ....... at least I've got some life out of it now. Did a hard reset, installed only the bluetooth card/software, and voila .... a pulse !!!:D
It now communicates with my laptop and Nokia 6310i phone, but .... when connected to the net for any period of time, it freezes, and I end up resetting again !!
Still ..... it's an improvement :)

No problem. It might have to be more than temporary if the fix for 2003 has been pushed right again and right again! No good me getting the TrueMobile fix if I haven't got the duff 2003 yet..
Oh well........

Thanks for the tip for the drivers.....downloaded and installed and wow it works after a fashion. There is still not a full working of the Bluetooth card sometime it does and sometimes it does not work so hopefully Dell will get the fix out sooner rather than later.

Thanks.

TrueMobile 300 Bluetooth CF card & ppc2003

Yeah-- I downloaded the TECH0811.ZIP package as well, and my TrueMobile 300 Bluetooth card is working great! Of course, the integrated ppc2003 Bluetooth Manager still says that there is "no Bluetooth hardware installed", but at least it's working and the proprietary driver/software does what it's supposed to do. Thanks a lot for the info, guys!!

cheers!

It works somewhat, despite being a bit glitchy. But we still can't take advantage of the new simplified PPC 2003 Bluetooth interface, which is integrated into the OS and apparently very fast and easy to use. :(

Ah well...
