Yes, I had to call DELL a 2nd time after cancelling an order to get them to "cancel" it again and then insure that your Order Status page reflects a cancelled order. There seems to be a bit of a disconnect with Dell. (Plus order cancell does not always work the first time!)

At least over the water you get a robot telling you the update is delayed! In the UK, some of us get emails, nobody I think gets a phone call and I got six emails ignored completely.
I don't think Dell UK are quite as on the ball as over the pond. Or perhaps they just don't care!

Not to be racist or anything but im just happy that its a robot and not an india guy.. I read those reports yesterday of how 10 percent of tech jobs are going overseas..

That pisses me off.. Congress needs to stop this

Received an phone message from Dell today indicating 9/10/2003 for shipment of my upgrade CD. (Ordered it on 7/1)

I got the same 9/10 estimated delivery date (ordered 7/1). The bad thing is what can you do? You can't buy it or download it anywhere else. The good thing is it gives more time for everyone else to find bugs and maybe get them fixed.
