Axim with 2003 Shipped!!!!

Just as an update, I checked the status of my Axim that has been on hold. It's gone from "in production" to "shipped". I don't know if this is a glitch - yesterday it gave me an estimated ship date of 8/7. It appears they have the fix and are beginning to fulfill orders again...

Same here - checked the web site this evening to see that the unit is shipped and to expect receipt of the unit by 8/1.

I don't know if I'm being selfish or what but I would like Dell to release that patch for those of us who were stuck with the problem 2003 os for 30 days at least at the same time that those who just ordered axims will get it. I would have returned mine 20 days if I had known I would have a working axim sooner by ordering it again.

there's a good chance the patch will come out on monday or tuesday, in which case i think it'd still be faster for you to just hang on to your axim as opposed to returning it a few days ago and ordering a new one.

I've actually got a tracking number now. Amazing how much I've learned about my Axim before I even got it!!

My unit (see above) has definitely shipped - my order status now shows as shipped and gives a FedEx tracking number. The FedEx tracking number shows status as in the Memphis hub, due to arrive at my place Thursday.:)

I just couldn't jump ship!
I've looked at all the reviews for
all the Pocket PC's for several days.

After being temped by three iPAQ's
1910,1945,1922,
A couple of the Toshibas.

The Axim is still the best value for
the money.

At any rate my new Ax
shows shipped.

Following the tracking number it left
Nashville this morning and
should be to me tomorrow afternoon.
