I wanted to go ahead and place an order with Dell for the new operating system but can find absolutely no reference for it on their web site. I called Dell but got stuck in a never ending loop of being transferred or placed on hold. Anyone know whether you can place an order with Dell at this time, and if so, how?

I'd just hold off for a few days and let Dell get this mess straightened out. It's probably hectic over there at Dell, as it has even gotten hectic for me right now. Anyhow, it is not available via the web. But you should be able to order it over the phone. It will not ship out until sometime in Septemeber though.
