1/13 Update Issue Resolved! (maybe)

I was updating a buddies ROM and his Update got hung at 1/13. However my upgrade went fine... Trying to figure out what I did, that my buddy didnt do, I realized I used a USB Cable, and he used the Cradle. Trying the USB Cable on his for the update worked!! So I think this is a Cradle issue!

i have used both and on 2 different computers. didn't work on any of my trys. always hangs at 1/13.

did your buddy use the same install file both times?

or did it fail using his install/cradle and then work using your install/cable?

this is the second time someone has said they got around the 1/13. the first time the person said it failed using their dl and worked when they went to their friends house and used the friends download.

if your friend used the same exact file when it failed and when it worked then that is definitely interesting.

I used the cradle and it worked fine for me. Is there a serial cradle? Mine is a USB cradle.

Well After 26 trys I got the update to work.

Removed the BK (CR)Battery and had main batt only and the system powered to the wall. I Hard reset the system and cleared all data and then allowed for Guest mode. I did not setup anything on the system. I then ran the update and it got passed the 1/13 issue. I seems to be related to the batteries.
