ITs not worked for me either. I tried it 3 times and each time got stuck at 1/13.

Isn't this whole battery trick exactly the same as a hard reset? Doesn't it just come down to putting your regional settings to US?

The battery thing doesn't work for me either. If you guys are still in warranty then you should ask for a replacement. Mine is currently In Production! :D
