Dear Aximites

1) Success
2) N/A
3) N/A
4) Axim advanced
5) Toshiba Sat Pro 6100 Win XP prof
6) USB

Notes:
a) Couldn't install outlook 2002 on laptop - key value supplied by the dell update disk wasn't accepted.
b) Would not install until I changed pda from Language UK English to US english.
c) After install, laptop seemed to lose track of the pda across the usb. Pulled and replace pda from cradle seemed to do the trick.

Cheers
Julian

1. Failure
2. Hung up on 1/13
3. 3 before, 3 after
4. Axim Advanced
5. Dell Latitude
6. USB Cradle

Tried it 3 different times. Once with a Hard Reset. I got my Ax just before they stopped shipping the A04's with 2003.

I hope they ship that stupid CD soon. I'm tired of trying to install this freaking update!!:exc:

1. Failure - multiple times
2. 1/13
3. 3 before & 3 after
4. Basic (300Mhz - feels like 30!)
5. IBM T23 - Win2000
6. USB cable

Tried multiple times. Cleared Built-in storage, Hard reset, removed batteries, etc. (aximan169: I only have 1 axim, so couldn't try the dancing/singing thing)

I'd patiently wait for the upgrade CD - IF I ever got the same story twice from a Dell tech about when it was coming!

Guess I'll just wait impatiently ;)

1. SUCCESS tonight after kept trying many times this week. SO
TOUCHING.
2. N/A
3. N/A
4. AXIM advanced.
5. Compaq Presario 2800, WinXP

I did upgrade many times in this week.
But it was always failed until tonight my data suddenly lost on SD
so I did hard reset and removed backup, main battery for 30 mins.

I just did upgrade as usual, somehow the 1/13 hung up problem was gone, so touching, then completed and it did reset itself.

Checked system information, the ROM version was changed to A5.
I felt the speed is faster than before, it is worth to upgrade.

Johnny ^_^

Under system information my Rom Version is A00, is it safe to do this upgrade or not.
I'm assuming it is for the A04 versions only??
