Those of you who have not tried the battery removal method discussed elsewhere in this forum may find it useful. It seems to be working in many cases.

Success
n/a
n/a
Basic
Toshiba Satellite, with Windows XP home, USB 1.1, ActiveSync 3.7.
USB Cable
Notes: Had to do a hard reset during the process, after waiting 20 minutes with a blank screen (after the reset of the backup). Also while the update didn't touch anything, even when the welcoming Windows screen appeared, I left it there, didn't perform the first time Wizard until the full update was done.

It was a Success after a couple of tries.

Updating An Axim Advanced

Using a Custom Built Desktop, Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz, 1024 Megs of DDR Ram using Windows XP Professional

Using USB connection
Insanity, Keep doing the same things & expect different results!!
