Update problem. Help!

I got this problem.
What must i do ?

Looks like you are trying to upgrade 2K2 to 2K3. Can't do it. You have to wait for the update CD. I have 2K3 and missed the small window of opportunity to download the patch. Oh well...it's going back Monday anyway :D

are you trying to do a rom update from a00 to a05?

First i tried to upgrade it but then it said the language wasn't the same. So i made a backup and resetted my axim.

Doesn't it have to work on every axim X5? Doesn't they have the same roms? How do i get the right rom then ?

Normally that is true. But this particular download is specifically for Axims that have 2K3 installed.

What ROM version do you have now?

Yes, you already must have an Axim with Windows Mobile 2003 operating system loaded on it. If you ordered yours (new from Dell) within about the past month, then your chances are good that you have it. But by the looks of your screenshots, you have PocketPC2002 operating system...as do I. The only way to upgrade is to order the WM2003 Upgrade CD through Dell (via phone), and wait a month or so for it to ship.

I need rom version A04, i already found A03. But does anybody know where i can get A04 ?

The only way of getting an Axim with A04 on it was to have ordered one late June/early July and have Dell ship you a buggy PDA. To get WM2003 on your PPC2002 axim you need to buy the upgrade. I don't think anyone will want to tell you how to do it the illegal way and risk getting the site into trouble.
