I just called Dell tech support about getting the patch, and here's what I got.

(Note: he spoke baaad english with a horrible accent)

He said...check this.... the update will be coming out Wednesday, and is delayed because they haven't finished testing it completely yet. Furthermore, it would be up on the Dell site for download!! Bit behind the times, eh?

Thus, I am a bit disgruntled. I need advice. Should I...

1. Wait for the update CD, and if so, how do I make sure I get one, or
2. Send in my Axim for a replacement with the patch preinstalled, and how would I go about that?

you might wanna wait until it's officially released. some poeple are getting that 1/13 error.. and from what i've seen on newsgroup postings, some people can't even do a hard reset to get their axims back to normal
