Well this stinks! I had my 30 day date wrong and it has passed so I'm stuck through this whole mess and hopefully Dell will correct it as I did not download the patch when it was on. I do have several questions and comments though:
1. Would it do any good to contact my credit card company (AX) and file a compliant as they sold me defective merchandise and will not take it back. Maybe a chargeback is in order. 2. More importantly! Dell has a 30 day money back guarantee right, WRONG! The 30 days starts the DATE you order it so that 30 days is in reality only about 23-20 days for most if you are lucky. And what if you delievery date is about 20 days later. you are screwed. Isn't this a tad unethical? I mean last time I checked I thoght the law was 30 days for you to use the product. They certainly know when delivery date is through Fedex. Just my 2 cents!~ | |||

Actually, you have thirty (30) calendar days from your invoice date to contact Dell to arrange a return for any product. Invoicing does not occur until product has been shipped. Id say to check your invoice and see if you are able to return it. At least the proof will be on hand.
