Running old apps on Pocket PC 2003?

Ok, I bought a beautiful IPQ 2115 and tried to run my medical apps on it (uptodate, epocrates...) and not surprising, did not run.
Apprently microsoft (in its ultimate wisdom) left some crucial files out of the new OS.
They have a Cab file on their web site, "msvbppc.armv4.cab" to run "legacy apllications" (legacy? I just bought these things days or weeks ago!!).
My question is, how can you run this file? I got it on my pocket PC and you can see it on the file explorer of the PPC, but when you click on it, it gives you "not a valid pocket PPC program" error and refuse to run. Tried to unzip it on my desktop and move all the individual files to the windows directory on PPC, well, they just sit there! if you read the help file it makes it very simple, just click on it and will install, well, it is not!!
Any idea or suggestion is greatly appreciated!

I downloaded the file directly from my Axim and chose the option: "open this file after downloading." It worked fine for me and I can now run my old apps. :)

Thank you, this actually worked!
So you have to download the file directly from PIE to the PPC to be able to run it (change conncetion to internet on both PPC and Active Sync) and download it to your PPC (and NOT to your desktop and then to your PPC).
Sadly, my UpTodate still does not work!

FYI, UptoDate knows that the program is not compatible with PPC 2003, yet they still haven't updated the technical requirements on their web site to reflect this, nor have they said when they will fix the program. From my limited perspective, PPC 2003 seems to be a step in the wrong direction. The Hopkins Guide to Abx is also incompatible.

To be honest the same problems are found when upgrading any windows version. Just be patient and updates will be released or new different apps will be released.

It is a pain i agree but its the price you pay for the latest greatest OS.
