Just to say I got a call from Dell yesterday morning (quite suprised it was a Saturday), asking if they could arrange my delivery of the CD on Tuesday evening. I am based in the UK but it looks like they are starting to ship again.

Orderwatch was later updated to say it has been shipped by courier.

Had some fun and games with Dell lately - odd they phone to arrange for delivery of 2 cds and some screen protectors but just left to chance I'd be home when they sent out the Axims themselves

How does one order the CD patch for WM2003? I bought my X5 three weeks ago and it shipped with WM2003 so I am entitled to the free patch. I cannot find a CD order page nor any mention of the patch on Dell's support pages.

Should I wait for it to be downloadable again or will it likely only ever be offered on CD in the future?

Just curious - does one have to pay for the CD version of the patch?

Those of us who didn't catch the patch when it was released a few days ago are waiting anxiously. I think Dell will have it as a download again if they can figure out a more secure way to release it. As far as I know it is free.
