Unread messages on Main 'Today' screen

I've set up my Axim to work on my Companies Wireless Network, using a Netgear card. All is working fine.

But one thing I have noticed is that when the Axim syncs with Outlook on my machine through the wireless connecton under the section 'unread meassages' on the 'today' screen it only shows up as me having unread mail if they are delivered straight to my inbox.

Under Outlook on my PC I have a number of folders and rules to automatically put emails in to the relevant folder that I have set up. ie Private, Work etc etc.

I have told the sync program to snyc with all folders in outlook, it does this and when I drill in to them on my Axim it shows the mail, but it dosent show up in the ' unread messages' section. (only shows if their is no rule to push it in to a particular folder thus it sits there in the inbox)

Is there a way to set the 'unread messages' section toshow when I have mail in one of these folders other than the inbox.

(I hope this makes sence..LOL..as I lost the plot half way through it)

Thanks in advance.

Active Sync right click "inbox" from the list of things to sync... use the settings option and select the folders you want to sync... that should do it....
