they say that the new HP gets 14.7 and they got 14.1 with our Axim running WM2003, not too shabby.

My Axim basic running at 300MHZ runs pocket quake at almost 20 fps, using a few optimizations of course :)

Hey those are my results , I posted them but didn't know that they were included in the archive.

14.1 = WM 2003 A05 400 Mhz Pxbus 200
17.6 = WM 2003 A05 600 Mhz Pxbus 200

Ok , this is wierd , Today i got my new update. I did the benchmark again and have now 15.6 Fps instead of the 14.1. This is strange, both use the same settings.

That's the strange part . I did the "free" 2002=>2003 with that patch from dell , went back to 2002 because i thought it was not fair . Today I got my upgrade , upgrade and repeated the test .

Same rom , same settings , different results ...

Go over to pocketmatrix (link above) and check out their forums for .cfg files to cut down graphics and speeding up gameplay. Some graphics options that are enabled are quite useless on a Pocket PC anyway, so there's no point in having them hog precious resources.
