Password screen

Well I didn't see a support forum, so I figured this was the best spot.

First of all, a while ago when I first got my 2215 I remember setting the option for automatic passwording upon 'standby' (at least I think I remember doing it, because it does it everytime I go on standby) but theres a problem... Upon turning my iPaq back on, the normal white screen with numbers to enter my password is invisible and I see my today screen, its all glitched. I can guess where the numbers are and if I hit them they appear and I can login. But this isn't a very good thing as the point of passwording is so people can't see your data but if your today screen shows while the password screen is glitched...it sort of defeats the purpose. (not to mention how ugly it looks in this glitched stage...)

Has anyone else had this problem, and could it be related to me using a CF WiFi card?

Any thoughts would be appreciated in this matter, thank you in advance.

Now I have never had any problems like this, that I can remember. Actually, now that I think about it, I have had some problems ... not really similar. On my 3835, I have Nice Start which skins the password screen and sometimes, I see the old password screen. This isn't as severe of a problem though... I just soft reset and it usually fixes the problem. Another suggestion would be to save your data and do a hard reset.

Yeah I'll probably end up doing a hard reset somewhere down the road..
