Deleting Windows Media playlists
Hello everybody,
I'm new to this forum and to Ipaqs. I have been using the Windows Media Player 9 on my h1945 as an MP3 player since I've owned it. I have created and deleted playlists with no problem until last night. After a (failed) attempt to delete a playlist, somehow it remained in the playlist roster. When I tried to open it, I received an error message that said that "windows media player cannot play this file." How do I remove "ghost" playlists from the media player? Thanks, Uncle Scary

Stuck Playlist
Quote:
If it's in the MRU list, if Media Player is like most programs, the MRU list is stored in the registry, so I doubt a soft reset would help. You don't have to edit the registry to get rid of it, though; the simplest way to clear it is to open five other playlists. The MRU list only holds five items, so if you open five others, the stuck one should disappear. If the playlist is in the full list of playlists, the file is still in memory, probably in the My Documents folder somewhere. Steve
