What software does HP include with my iPaq?

Howdy there

I was curious if Outlook 2003 (for my PC) comes bundled with Windows Mobile 2003, or if HP includes other software on a CD or something? What is your experience with software included with your iPaq?

It all depends on the device that you have. All of the iPAQs will come with Outlook for your desktop bundled. Some models come with Resco File explorer; some doesn't. There are some freeware apps that come included with the iPAQs such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and HP Mobile Printing.

Well now don't just click your heels yet. In order to sync with your PPC you will have to use Outlook on the desktop. You can use Outlook 2000 and above.

Depending on what iPAQ you get, I think it will come with Outlook 2000 or 2002. I haven't heard of any Pocket PCs shipping with Outlook 2003.

As for other software, iPAQs traditionally come with the best software bundle of any Pocket PC.

Thanks! I just snagged a copy from them. Good program for certain. Well worth the 15 bucks (20 CDN).
