Windows Media Player- Cache
I am new to the ipaqhq.com forums mainly because I find that these Ipaqs are so similar to windows that I don't find myself needing too much help.
Over the last three/four months I have assembled enough applications to almost replace my desktop with my Ipaq 4155.
There is simply one issue I have NOT been able to track down for the life of me, and it is possibly one of the simplest to fix.
My problem is with the Windows Media Player cache. I cant seem to clear it.
My problem is basically this-- I enjoy watching the morning news clips, etc from cnn.com and the likes using windows media player. The formats are fine, the wifi speed is enough--- the problem is that if I view a stream on Monday morning, and then come back to the site on Tuesday I see the same video stream. Not the updated one on the website. I have verified this is a problem limited to the Ipaq as I can watch the same daily streams on my desktop without an issue.
Now the file that is downloaded is vh.asf. (What is contained in the URL) However a thourough search of the Ipaq for vh.asf, or for that matter vh.*, or *.asf returns NOTHING.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how i can clear the cache, and/or disable it totally?
Thanks for the time/help.
Dave
