Redirecting Mydocs/notes/etc to sd
So I copied my My Documents to my SD card. That seems to work well for Word/Excel/MS Reader etc. But when I go to my notes it comes up blank. I have to use the file explorer to click the note on my SD to access it. Is there any way of redirecting Notes to the SD. Or make the 4150 assume everything is on the SD? (like accepting an IR file there etc).

If this is an issue then you will need a third party sync agent such as Intellisync.

Be aware that "My Documents" and "Notes" are completely and utterly different animals.
"Notes" are built into the databases that ActiveSync and PocketOutlook are expecting to find at exactly the same place every time (both on your PPC and on your desktop). On your PPC they are a database and on your desktop they are part of your outlook .pst file. They also have to be in a very specific format (eg not in subfolders etc).. "My Documents", however, is just a special folder installed on your PC and PPC that AS looks for and sync's the contents - it has no idea what it is expecting to find in the folder - it just 'dumbly' (is that a word?) copies the contents (apart from some specific file types eg. .doc .xls which, if set, it tries to convert). If you want to move your Notes (or any other Outlook folder) you will need specific software - such as Intellisync. If you want to move the contents of your "My Documents" folder you have a number of options. - You can just copy them to your SD card - but be aware doing this will mean they will not sync when changes are made. - You can purchase software such as MightySync (link in MyPDA) which allows you to sync files on SD cards etc to files on your PC (and after now using it everyday for a month on two different PC's I can say that it works flawlessly Hope this helps - but it seemed as though the thread had started to mix the two types of sync'ing up.

Well, in my case, I just want my applications to save in the "My Docs" on my SD card and completely disregard the one in memory. So if I beam something, or download something, or save something it'll all automatically go to \\storage card\my documents instead of the memory.
