Hello, I am very new in the ipaq world and I have managed to upgrade my Ipaq 3630 from ppc 2000 to ppc 2002. So far soo good. (By the way if you want to know how to do this upgrade e-mail me ).
I have a few problems with it: I can not find a suitable media player to replace the windows media player (as it has not been included in the upgrade due to the small ROM), and would also like an enhanced alarm clock (maybe one that has mp3 support?).
Other problems I have: I want to buy some second hand parts for it, an expansion jacket first of all, and I would really appreciate if someone cand give me a resource for that.
I have also tryed linux on it: GREAT LOOKING, but if you're looking for easy config then you'we got the wron OS.

as for the media player, I suggest you get betaplayer (http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/), you'll like it. For the enhanced alarm clock, I don't know myself.
