New Ax's have fixed 2003 right?
I couldn't find a def answer and wanted to confirm.
Mine arrived today so I want to make sure if I need to get the update or not. If I need it is it back up fr download? Can't wait to get home | |||||

It should. Check the ROM version in your system info., and if it is A05, you got the updated 2003. I don't think it is downloadable any more because of the hacking to get 2002 to 2003 upgrade that went on.

Cool deal. I'll take a look. By any chance does any one who legitimately has the upgrade want to share? Obviously I'm legal my Ax is with FedEx now
 Hopefully this isn't bad, if so mods please correct. I don't wanna get stuck with no upgrade though.Thanks Smeg for the promptness | |||||

Thread Closed. This is a simple reminder, No matter what you are owed or think Dell owes anyone. <b>This is not the place to accomplish getting it</b> Call Dell, demand a supervisor, write a letter, but do not come here looking for someone to "give" you a copy of something you "believe" you are owed. I have a legal x5 with Windows Mobile 2003 ( one of the 1st in fact ) - It performs horribly and I am still waiting on the fix.
Future requests of this nature will result in removal from the site. No matter what your beliefs on software issues are, Mine are that I do not want what <b>I</b> consider Pirated Software or copies that are not legal to be shared on my site. I am not going to debate the issue. I don't want to sound ugly( those that have been onsite for a while know I am very giving and nice), I do not want to force my opinion down anyones throat - But I do know I do not want that type stuff happening on my site....
