i have the 250 chip,a01 rom...old school now i guess,have not done any updates...should i do the a03 update,i dont think ill get the wm2003 for awhile. how long does the a03 update take...any advice or suggestions...i read the info on this site already...just want to know if anyone has any other 411....

Just upgraded from A02 to A03 no problems....yet!

well i did the o3 update....alls well so far,,going to be hard getting use to the center nav button cuz my "right click" on the d pad dont work that well,,,wish i would have known that in the 1st 30 days...would have returned it.....but cant do anything about it now....sucks when playing some games....but adds to the challenge.

My Ax still has the A00 version. Will I see any improvements to do any upgrades? What would I see different?

If I do a full back up will all the prgs and games still be intact, or will I have to install everything again.

I have one problem with my Ax, when I play games the d-pad gets stuck either to the left or right. Is that a d-pad prob or the Ax?

Any info would be great.

hey core...u in the same boat i was...i did the a03 last night,all went fine,,just do as the info states on this site and u should be ok...all my games and calendar info is still in tact. i didnt see alot of change in the d pad,,mine still sticks a bit to the right,but things seem to open a bit quicker,,,dont know if its just me or what. all in all though,im glad i did it cuz u never know a few years from now if an app comes out or game or patch...dell might assume by then everyone has done all the upgrades and mods to the ax and just put somethin out thats taylored to using the ax with the a03...or 04 or 05 upgrade...so i didnt want to be left behind..i might upgrade to the 2003 in a few months or so,if and after dell can get it figured out!!
