Dell and Pocket PC 2003 - My Experience
So Thursday morning I wake up and I have a message from Dell waiting on my cell phone... I found this to be pretty strange because the message talked about an exchange that had not been setup yet and something about "capturing" my Axim...
I was heading out of town so I did not call Dell back until today, but when I did I found out that Dell wanted MY Axim so they could figure out what was exactly wrong with it (and other, I assume) systems.
The people I was talking with were Dell's top-level technicians in Austin and they actually knew what they were talking about (something that is becoming rare within Dell's tech support)... New Axim for me, and when I get my new one I send them my slow non-updating A04 1/13 hanging Axim...
Anyway, Dell won't be getting my Axim until Tuesday morning [shipped my new one next business day today - will get here Monday - I ship mine next business day - arrives at Dell Tuesday morning] , and from there they have to fix the 1/13 issue so it will be at least next Friday until a new A05 update is released (with no 1/13 issues) - that is MY ESTIMATE anyway.
Anyways, I get a new (assumedly A05) Axim next business day... I am pleased with Dell.
