Question AO5 wireless problems

Hi.

After upgrades to AO5 a can not use my wireless compactFlash
lyncsys WCF12.
The driver looks like it installs normally.
In the settings-connections-wireless internet i can see the driver has been installed, but when i insert WCF12 in my dell pocket pc a pop-up window appears and says (unrecognised card)-enter the name of the device driver for this card. I enter the name then press OK, then after restarting the pocket-pc the message
(unrecognised card) appears again.

It looks like a problem with the driver.
on the lyncsys WCF12 website it show nothing about my problem.

If anyone can help please reply.

Thanks......

What version were you using before when your WCF12 worked?

There are no compatible drivers from linksys yet that work with the WCF12 and WM2003. There is a work a around driver that works from Senoa, and there is a thread here that explains where to find on web, and how to install it.

Sorry for the bad news, I'm frustrated too.

I believe Linksys will be releasing the driver in Q5.

So? What's your point? As Howard pointed out, the Linksys drivers do not work with WM03. Either get the Senoa drivers and use the workaround on the other thread or wait for Linksys to get their act together.

Do you get the WLANSTA error when starting? My WCF12 works too, but it would be great to have the status.

Thanks folks

Just a quick thank you for the info on this thread - I've got an upgraded A03 to A05 Axim with a real Senao WiFi card (SL-2511CF) and the driver supplied by Senao (.net driver) didn't work.

I've tried the suggested FORWINCE300.EXE driver and that works fine - even the status app is working..

Thanks for the info!!! :p
