Reminders are numbered?

So my Mom's birthday comes up on the top of the calendar day screen: Mom's Birthday (3). What the heck is the (3)? I have some that have a (2) beside it too. I looked and it's not currently a duplicate, may have been in the past, but how do I get rid of the number?

If you Mom's birthday is setup as an all day event the (3) represents how many items you have in the calendar for that day. This includes the all day event.

If you enter your birthdays in (PC) outlook, it automagically creates an All Day Event for you for that persons birthday. If you enter the birthdate correctly (i.e. 28/02/1956) the number shown in the ()'s will be the persons age. So this years entry would be "Mum's Birthday (49)"... Quite handy.

Wow Carbine, that's a good option, but I didn't put her birthyear in.

However, Ted, It's the only item that day, even when I look at the PC's outlook calendar it only shows up once on that day (every year mind you).

Any other ideas? It is only showing up on all day events though, that's true.

Whitelyt,
No offense, but I believe your mistaken. The three does not represent the number of items for the day, But the number of occurences since you entered the event.
E.G. Three years ago i entered mom's birthday as a recurring appointment. Today is her birthday. My PDA says mom's birthday (3). An easy way to see this is put an all day appointment in you PDA titled TEST, and make sure you set recurrences to "every (enter date)". Then go look at the date in 2006, or what ever year you want. The number should be how ever many years from now.

Mikey,
You don't enter the birthdays in the calender, you enter the exact birthday(including birth year) of the person under contacts(should be on the details tab of that person), Then outlook will put it on your calender with a number that represents their age for that calender year.

Hope this helps
Ken
