benchmarks

WOW!
Talk about a difference. MY CPU and SPB benchmarks are very close to those for the Ipaq 2215. The biggest difference I see is in the video numbers but for the price and overall value I am pleased. A side note though. MAx your performance. Do not set it on auto as this does affect your benchmarks by about 10-15%.

Max performance eats batery?

Really!
Mine isn't that bad. Guess if I am not doing anything graphic related I should turn it to auto or a notch down from max.

Is the link/file now removed from all of the FTP's? I cannot find it anywhere at 11:37PM on 8/11. Let me know if I am just stupid or if Dell has pulled it from everywhere...

Well, I just looked and it appears that the file has finally been removed from the Singapore A.P. site. I hope a few others were able to get it before the door closed. But more, I hope Dell gets their sh*t together and starts supporting the people who fund their paychecks.

Do not post asking where else to download the file. Any posts of this nature will be deleted. Thanks.

Not sure. Dell uses the same FTP for all of it's products....so it is most likely for a Desktop, Laptop, Server, etc. Just b/c it's on the FTP, does not mean it is an Axim file.

So is this one not so easily "crackable" and so now they will let everyone download it?
