Power button problem!

Please help!

I have a problem with my power button. I have just upgraded to 2003 and have a major problem with my power button. It wont switch my Axim on!!!! I have to soft reset to switch it on. This is very frustrating to say the least. I did a quick search and no-one seems to have had this problem before. Apologies if I have missed the solution. Hope some-one can help. Cheers!

At the risk of sounding like Dell's ignorant solution for everything, have you tried a couple of hard resets?

I hope you've used an Axim for some time and realize that the power button is dual action.

Pressing it quickly turns it on and off

Pressing and holding it just dims the screen

If you dim the screen and then turn it off, the screen will be dim the next time you turn it on.

Thanks for the replies. I think that this has been mentioned on another thread. It looks like someone (Kodiak917) had the same problem with the driver for the Snap on Thumb Keyboard. I removed it and reset and everything works fine now.
