Hmm Screen Alighment Problems w/ ppc 2003

I just installed the re-released version of the 05 rom to see if it would take care of some of the audio problems I've had with my paperweight . . . er . . . Axim. It didn't seem to be any different, but now I can't seem to get the screen to stay aligned for more than a couple of seconds.

I installed the first patch when it came out and didn't have the 1/13 hang-up. I did a few benchmarks and was impressed with the new speed. After being late to work one day because the calender alarm didn't go off (hem hem) I put my Ax away untill today when the "new" patch was released. I installed it and since then haven't been able to get my screen to stay aligned for more than a few seconds. Has anyone else had this problem?

I also just noticed that my scroll/action button on the side is really loose and only works one out of five times pressed. I only just noticed because I've only had about 5 hours of functionallity with my new Ax (and most of that was benchmarking). I tried to use it to read an e-book for the first time and noticed the faulty button. I hope dell will do something about it even though it's passed my 30 days.

What "new" patch? It should have been clear that it was the SAME as the prior file (7/30/2003). It shouldn't perform any differently than the previous A05 update.

Well, they should do something about it if you have your warranty. If you complaign enough, you should get a replacement for just about any problem. They usually overnight them to, so you could get a new one by Tuesday. I recommend trying for a replacement.
