Dear all
I have an hx4700 and have set up both WiFi and GPRS connections flawlessly. I am however having problems getting access to the internet via a wired ethernet connection (Socket Low Power CF Ethernet Card) which I would like to use as I travel a lot on business and most hotels I visit have only a wired broadband connection in the room.
I have installed the drivers for the CF card and get a valid "connected" icon when I plug the hx4700 into my home router HOWEVER I cannot seem to access any web-sites (including both internet and the internal URL of my router.
Having searched many of the forums on the site I see that there are some issues with the "Connections" tab and accordingly I have ensured that in my "Connections" setup -> Advanced -> Select Networks both dropdowns have "My Work Network" selected and I have edited "My Work Network" to ensure that under Proxy Settings "This network connects to the Internet" is checked.
Can anyone here think of anything else I might have missed? Many thanks in advance!
Rafael
