i have two issues that i want to discuss with you.
1. i have an ipaq 3970 running 2002 french version.the thing is that i want to get some kind of "skin" to translate it in english or,to upgrade to 2003 english version.is this thing possible?to upgrade from 2002 fr to 2003 en?
2.recently i just got a gprs connection.this time only using the IRDA modem but in the future usign bluetooth.i have a software called all locations gprs counter which is great but the thing is that is a trial version.i would like t know if anyone knows a freeware software or some kind of "tricks" ?
that would be all 4 now.

EDIT: also,i want to get my ipaq wireless!i was thinking of buying a SD card (256MB)with wireless tech integrated!other ideas?

and last,is my ipaq 3970 powerfull enough or should i upgrade to a new version like 6340(??)

For all the things you want to do, I believe 3970 is powerful enough to handle all.

1. You can try to search "change language" or "language" on this forum and you should find some good guide on flashing 3970 with different language.
Really you want to follow the route of putting 3970 into engineering mode then apply the "faked-french" english ROM.

2. I don't know any freeware which does the job, but you can try search by yourself from say http://www.freewareppc.com/

3. other than SDIO WIFI card, you can also have the solution of having
a. CF Jacket + CF WIFI card or
b. PCMCIA Jacket + PCMCIA WIFI card

The choice is yours.
