I have an iPAQ 4150 running WM2003, and evertime I click on a menu item, a sound file caled menupop.wav in the \windows directory plays. I've looked through all of the menus, but I cant find a way to turn it off, and I can't delete the file from the device because it's in the ROM. Is there any way to disable this sound? At the moment, I have all audio muted, but it's a pain because there's no notification when I get email etc.

Won't this work for you?

Settings --> Personal --> Sounds & Notifications --> uncheck Screen taps (leaving Events, Programs/Notifications checked, if you want, for your email and such).

Cheers for that. I looked everywhere. It was the notification for Events that was causing it.
