I have not received the update yet. Estimated ship date is 9/4. Yesterday the estimated ship date was 7/24. Go figure.

In a nutshell...

Dell posted an upgrade fix back in July on a foreign site for those who already had 2003 and several did download it, but the installer was corrupt and only about 65% of those were sucessful at installing it to their Ax.

Also, some WM 2002 owners were able to hack the upgrade and install 2003 to their axims w/o paying for the upgrade.

So Dell pulled the download off the site to address these problems and we must all wait for the CD to be completed and mailed.

Dell has really got this mucked up!
Sell new Axims with a new OS that wasn't tested (have not heard this from other PPC manufactors), cannot seem to get the fix yet and then distributed and cannot update their order (for WM2003)status screens.......oh well.....thank goodness the Axim does what it needs to do for me as it is configured now!
