Assigning a drive to the "mobile device"

I would like to use a PC sync program to sync folder on my pocket PC. Unfortunatly, since "Mobile Device" has no drive character assigned, it is impsoosble to do this.

is there a solution to assign a drive for example z: drive.

I haven't seen one that allows for that. Someone else might be able to come up with something, and I 've seen some threads that seem to come close to what your'e describing. But nothing as specific as what you're asking.

Anyone else know of anything?

Not sure that what you want to do.

But, I use MightySync (linked in my MyPDA) and it allows me to sync any folder on my PC to anywhere on my iPaq (including storage cards).

Thanks Rob,

Unfortunatly I have tried MightySync. It is a great product but does not allow active syncing (ie if a file changes after the unit is plug, no syncing happens).

I would have prefered something that is constanyly syncing.

MightySync does sync constantly...while connected.

My setup:
I have a desktopPC (mine) and a laptop PC (wifes).
I have several files in a shared folder, shared over a WiFi connection.
If either I, or my wife changes the file(s), then MightySync updates and syncs the file(s) on BOTH my iPAQ and my wifes iPAQ (while connected).

Sorry guys, but I re-tried the latest trial version and syncing is not continous. You need to remove thePocket PC and re-plug for the sync to work.

I Also check to find any reference to continous syncing and could not find any think.

If I am missing something please advise.

Thanks

Is yours a folder or a file then?

(Also look at the answer two below as well).
