use axim as pen drive
is there any software available that will let a computer see a pocketpc as just a usb drive so no drivers would be required?

I dont think that is possible through software....I believe it needs a hardware feature on the axim to work without any drivers on a comp.

However if the comp has winXP, it should recognize ur PDA as a USB mobile device, basically giving you pen-drive like usage

Using the builtin XP driver that is, but im not even sure of that

And to interject a moment of reality (sorry)..

If you go to CompUSA (or similar stores depending on where you live), you can pick up a Lexar JumpDrive Trio for around US$20. This is a pen drive which takes an MMC or SD card - which of course, also conveniently fits in the Axim.

And it's USB AT (Mass AT) compliant, so you don't need any drivers for Win98 or later, or MacOS 9 or later.

Look here MoDaCo -> Download Manager -> Utilities - Phone Management -> WM5torage . It works great! Be aware that you have to register on the site to download though.
