Getting rid of Microsoft money

Hi,
I have tired to remove Microsoft money from my Ipaq 2215 but it is putting up a stern fight Does anyone know how to get rid of the balances showing on the start screen as they are really annoying
I have tried thro active sync but may be missing something, any help will be gratefully received
Thanks guys/girls

Ian

(I've not used this piece of software so I'm guessing a bit here, but...)

If the balances are showing on your start screen, is there a plug-in that is allowing this to happen? (Look under Settings/Personal/Today/Items, & untick the box if there is something there that relates to MS Money.)

Similarly, look under Settings/System/Memory/Running Programs to see if there's something running there.

Once everything is stopped/turned off you should be able to uninstall the program. If you still have problems the 'hack & slash' method will work (although I'd do a full backup first, just in case!) - browse your PPC, & delete any folders relating to MS Money, then use a program like MemMaid to clean up your PPC & registry of any stray files/settings left behind.

Hi Stebbo14. Go to Start/Settings/Today then tap on the Items tab and uncheck the MS Money Today Screen item. EDIT: Exactly what sugar_cube says....

If you are still looking to delete it from the ppc, do a soft reset then goto settings -> system -> remove programs and delete from there.
Make sure you have already stopped the balance from showing on the Today Screen or it will keep pulling info from the program and not let you delete it.
