unable to delete ad-hoc wifi parameters

I have an hx4700 (rom 1.10 with battery fix update). I also have parameters for a wifi ad-hoc network. I want to get rid of these, but whenever I select "delete" in the tap-'n-hold menu, it will still stay there. The delete function works without any problem with normal ap networks. I tried a soft-reset without success and don't want to make a hard-reset (i think you can understand why )

Anyone having the same problem or having a workaround ?

Is the partner wireless device still active and in range? I've noticed you cannot remove wireless settings when the PPC can see the network.

Thanks for the reply, but I configured the partner devices on other networks and my hx still shows me the ad-hoc network as available.
