"turn radios off" option in 2003?? any card works with this feature?

I read somewhere there is such option in 2003 that you can turn the radios of all WIFI devices connected to your Ax

I dont have 2003 installed yet. I think just for that option it will be worth my time since I really HATE there is no way to have the Dlink card on the system with the radio off using the drivers from D-Link alone.

I always have to be removing the card over and over to save battery, add to that the use of GPS and I have to carry all 3 things, the GPS, the DLink and the cover... leaving one home and the other in the bag will make my life easier...

can anyone with a D-Link card and 2003 confirm they can in fact use this option?

O_O ... so I take it that the drivers are not really finished... grrrrr.. so what you do? do you have the card all day on the Ax without worrying battery? the thing is I use the Ax as MP3 player all day long, and battery is more than enough for that, but add the waste of the card being plugged in and i have to take it out making another thing to carry around.

yes.. lol.. I actually tried a few things,
leaving it in and doing a soft reset... taking
out then putting it in...

anyway the time I remember seeing it not-grayed out
was when my card was not in it
